- Shatter resistant, easy to cut, drill, bend, and thermoform. Use simple tools like snips or hacksaws to cut and standard drill bits without cracking or fracturing. Simple to bend with a heat gun, may also be cold-bendable. Thermoformable, often used for vacuum molding.
- Polycarbonate is sold under a number of brands including Lexan by SABIC, Perspex, Makrolon, Tuffak, Spartech, Palram, Gallina. This sheet is made from high quality, 100% virgin SABIC brand polycarbonate.
- Exact size sheet is precisely 24x24", unlike other nominal sheets that can be up to 1/4" smaller than specified. Includes a single accurately square & straight cut sheet of 1/4" (0.236", approx 6mm/6.35mm) thick Polycarbonate. 2 foot by 2 feet, 1/4 inch (0.236 inches, approx. 0.25 or 0.220 inch) thick.
- Polycarbonate clear plastic sheets are easier to work with than Plexiglass acrylic sheets as they do not crack, fracture, or shatter from cutting, drilling, or impact. Safer and more practical than glass panes.

Polycarbonate is a superior clear plastic sheet compared to Plexiglass/Acrylic
Sheets can easily be cut, milled, and drilled with any standard tools (hacksaw, jigsaw, snips for thin sheets, standard drill bit, etc.) without the cracking or fracturing you would find in Plexiglass. Additionally, Polycarbonate can be bent neatly. Thin sheets can be bent cold with sheet metal techniques, while thicker ones are easy to shape with the help of a heat gun. It is also perfect for thermoforming or vacuum forming. This makes Polycarb perfect for both DIY and professional projects around the home, shop, or for manufacturing.
EXACT Dimensions
Unlike most Polycarbonate sheets sold by others and cut to a nominal size up to 1/4" smaller than indicated, Robosource's sheets are custom manufactured to exact dimensions, so you always get the same size you ordered.
Shatter Resistant & Strong
Polycarbonate has great mechanical properties, making it often considered as a safer option than glass sheets or acrylic sheets. Tensile Stress: 63 MPa. Flexural Stress: 90 MPa. Rockwell Hardness, R: 120
